the death of an icon

Pop legend Michael Jackson’s death yesterday morning has left a big vacuum in the world’s  unofficial presiding panel of iconic  personalities. The personality of this undisputed King of Pop as a singer, dancer and stage master, has become etched in the public imagination spanning over at least two generations of people. Jackson’s charm was indeed the manner in which he managed to retain the same zeal and enthusiasm for the stage and entertaining that had obviously overcome him when he came into the limelight as a five-year-old throughout his 45-year career. It was amazing to see him come alive on stage, casting aside the myriad of personal problems that rained on him largely due to a vicious adult world which abhorred his energy and resourcefulness. One cannot therefore imagine how the funeral of this undisputed  king of Pop will turn out. May his entertainer soul attain its peace  in  the  Divine  planet of the  arts.
